In addition, Honors Student Council promotes service in the community and fosters student leadership. Join us in giving a voice to Aggie Honors students across campus.
Our Mission |
The purpose of the organization shall be:
|
2023-2024 Vision |
To involve more honors students and honors organizations, to increase the sense of community, and to commit to greater representation. To increase communication and unity between university and departmental honors programs. One way we plan to do this is by requiring in person attendance
|
Meetings and Membership |
We accept new members at the start of each Fall and Spring semester. There are no dues. We hold general meetings monthly.
Members are required to attend one academic and one social event or two academic events each semester, with one of those events being in person, to remain in good standing with LAUNCH: Honors and graduate as an Honors Fellow. Check our weekly emails or right here on our website to see what events we have planned! |
Requirements |
The easiest way is to meet your requirements is to come to any events hosted by or approved by Honors Student Council. This website has a list of upcoming events and they are listed in the weekly emails sent out by the president as well. If you have an event that you think fulfills the requirements to be an academic or a social point, email the details and a description at least 2 weeks ahead of time to [email protected] for approval. Possible events that can be submitted for approval are those that provide an opportunity for Honors students to socialize (social point) or events focused around learning (academic point).
